Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps App Reviews

A tool should match the task at hand. If you just need to get from point A to point B avoiding congestions and there is a cell signal, nothing beats Google Maps. However, if you are a motorcycle rider who planned a 3,500 mile multi-day trip on a computer, saved it to a file and just need you GPS to tell you when to return, and you are riding somewhere in the mountains without a reliable cell signal, Sygic is great. Ive been using a Tomtom GPS for the last 10 years. The first time I opened Sygic app, I felt right at home. However, if you want to do the latter, you will need an Android phone. iPhone doesnt allow you to drop a file with the route into a Sygic directory. Other than that, its a better alternative to a dedicated GPS, either Tomtom or Garmin.

I would have hoped that this would sync to my car.

I use the Sygic Premium Traffic app in Florida US and not all the features it claims to have work. For example do not always indicate the name of the streets to turn, assistant for change of lane and others. I do not recommend buying it.

This apps is very well put, what can I say more about it. Easy to use shows the way very well.

I love this app, but it hands on update for last 2 days... I click on Update button in AppStore and nothing happens.

Very precise guidance, with all needed details. Only issue it does not show up speed alerts when you go over the speed limits

Can not enter address to navigate to. Last update ruined this app. Inputting an address would be much easier if it was like google navigation

It is good app however requires constant updates especially in Oman where new road replaced old routes. I cannot track route from Duqm to Muscat correctly. Please update soonest.

I like the concept however needs improvement. Street numbers are input after the street name a European way of doing it. No zip codes are available or just difficult to find.

Have purchased and tried many of whats out there on the market and this offers the best. Simply a awesome product, updates are frequently released... It simply works!!! Just get it.

Absolute worst app Ive ever tried to use. They virtually stole my money. Do not pay for this. Cant input an address for directions. Doesnt link with my Ford Escape like I was told it would. FRAUD!!!

Much of the time the speed limit posted is wrong especially on open stretch of highway where it will change from 65 to 45 mph then 250 yards later will change back. Not an app worth buying.

Agree with the below, find it extremely difficult to enter addresses in the new versions. I prefer the old version much better, were you first entered the city (or zip), followed by street name, then street number.

After last update the application system is down!! Not working at all !! Please fix the problem
