Very decent navigator
A tool should match the task at hand. If you just need to get from point A to point B avoiding congestions and there is a cell signal, nothing beats Google Maps. However, if you are a motorcycle rider who planned a 3,500 mile multi-day trip on a computer, saved it to a file and just need you GPS to tell you when to return, and you are riding somewhere in the mountains without a reliable cell signal, Sygic is great.
Ive been using a Tomtom GPS for the last 10 years. The first time I opened Sygic app, I felt right at home. However, if you want to do the latter, you will need an Android phone. iPhone doesnt allow you to drop a file with the route into a Sygic directory. Other than that, its a better alternative to a dedicated GPS, either Tomtom or Garmin.
