Best offline maps application

It is the best offline maps application I have ever used, to get the most out of it use Sygic Travel with this application. I have used them in different countries, and I am happy.

Doesnt work

Downloaded the aapp, purchased the Premium + Traffic North America for $17.99 and downloaded the Florida map. Big mistake! I should have tried it out before I spent my money. Before taking it out on the road I entered 4 address into the search field, as instructed, to get directions to. Of the 4 it tells me 3 of the addresses do not exist. Really? One is work, the second is former residence and the third is a family member. I DEFINETLY klnow that the adrresses exist. What use is a map if it cant find the addresses. I have deleted the app from my phone and library and asked apple fpr a refund; I hope they refund my money for this useless app. Im sticking with the apple map app and waiting to see the improvements in the next iOS.

Search issues

Though I have four Navigation Apps, I use to prefer Sygic. After the recent update, the App crashes when I search some destinations. The search is now more cumbersome than before. Example is searching 4401 Steeles Avenue West, North York, ontario. It cannot find it. This is in the Canadian map Please fix it. The previous version worked perfectly.

Saved my fannie

I went on a national park trip and everyone lost mobile signal as we entered the area. So very happy there was an offline map on my device at this point. A few taps and we could keep going! Update: Ive used this for every major road trip since as my primary inter-city map. Flawless. The recent update simplifying search, favorites, and pricing makes this even better. This is the mature mapper for when the amateurs fail you.

Decent app but latest update never loads

Title says it all. Also, very frustrating about having to enter an address backwards (zip code, city, street, etc)

I drove through Europe, Germany, turkey and Jordan and it was great except for the names of streets but you can listen to it and read it at the same time especially when you do not need wi fi. For the price it more than worth it

Sygic has become much better over the past year

Downloaded maps is what we need when traveling to remote camp sites. The search features are much better now. Love the route options you can choose. Need to put some effort in the sound notifications. I cannot change volume of voice without changing music volume. Also, I would really like no voice but an audible sound (beep) when a turn is approaching. Get the sound figured out and 5 stars.

Very decent navigator

A tool should match the task at hand. If you just need to get from point A to point B avoiding congestions and there is a cell signal, nothing beats Google Maps. However, if you are a motorcycle rider who planned a 3,500 mile multi-day trip on a computer, saved it to a file and just need your GPS to tell you when to turn, and you are riding somewhere in the mountains without a reliable cell signal, Sygic is great. Ive been using a Tomtom GPS for the last 10 years. The first time I opened Sygic app, I felt right at home. There was practically no learning curve. However, if you do route planning on a PC, you need an Android phone. iPhone doesnt allow you to drop a file with the route to a Sygic directory. Also, since the app runs on a phone, you have much better alternatives for audio. Car GPS dont support either headset or A2DP profile. In other words you cannot hear voice instructions when you wear a helmet, unless of course you are willing to spend $700 on a Zumo. But you can pair a phone with any wireless airbuds and enjoy turn by turn instructions while riding. I use LG HBS750 and it works really well. My only wish, and its equally applicable to Google Maps, to be able to increase the font size of the information above and below the map. The map itself doesnt need to be that tall when you mount your phone vertically or that wide in landscape mode.
