Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps App Reviews

I like this app on my iPhone, but when I tried using it on the Apple Watch (series 2), I noticed that the origin was displayed on the Watch face, and there was a significant delay with the update to indicate the next maneuver... When using only the Watch (but connected to iPhone that was sitting on the passenger seat) I missed a number of turns due to poor update frequency... Also, the App would "disappear" on the Watch, requiring several clicks to the Digital Crown, followed by manual maneuvering to the Sygic Icon, and relaunching the app, and waiting for communication update (which again showed the origination address and not the next turn)... So, iPhone great! Apple Watch... find something else! When comparing the Watch App to the iPhone App, even when the iPhone was working great, the Watch was still seen to fall behind...

The best guide in the world. I have been using it for over 5 years all over the world and always successfully reaching my destination. Five stars. Highly recommended!

Nice maps and voices; a bit tricky to figure out; but most importantly, Ive found Sygics route-planning logic to be unreliable in getting me from point A to point B. Sygic has taken me on a longer route more than once, and sometimes has led me to turn one way only to have me make a u-turn and go back another. Its also led me through some strange areas unnecessarily. Google maps has always been reliable and thus I find myself relying on that rather than Sygic. If Sygic would fix the route-planning logic, Id probably use it more often because I like to hear the nice voices. Ive never had these route-planning logic issues with TomTom or Google Maps, only with Sygic.

Things wont open. Cant search. Utterly useless.

I recommend to buy the full version and get the traffic too to have all services from them.

The routing of trips is terrible. I dont understand why another app can map a trip that take an hour and ten minutes, and this one takes two hours for the same journey. It seems as though this app takes the longest route possible, no matter how the settings are. Also, it seems as though it always is giving information on staying on a road; at every light its "take road ahead" or "stay on this road" even though there is no other way to go. The map update is still broken as well, just spinning away and never stopping. I paid for worldwide maps and HUD, but the app is useless until a couple of things are fixed.

I want to appreciate sygic team for this amazing app. Although its hard to buy the full licence, because we dont have access to foreign currency and also this app is expensive considering our income, but sygic is the best navigation app in my idea. Thank you and good job.

had to go back to using a different app

I purchase this app and went to premium because it offer better capabilities than Waze and it seem that if it give you accurate travel times and traffic plus alternate routes how could you go wrong. Well it did neither and when I put the info to drive from home to work it didnt even see traffic loads and it had me there in 30 min when it actually took 1.25 hours. Everything was set up as they instructed and when I chatted with customer service they said they are working on system accuracy that it sometimes it doesnt work and they are aware and looking in to it. So they charge a crap load of money for premium when it is worse than Waze. Maybe it was just my app and it doesnt happen to other but my advise is save your money and use Waze. Im giving it one because I cant give it zero.

Its very hard to fing a address

This app actually sometimes gets me around traffic better than my Garmin. Good for offline maps when needed.

Its nice but the search for places must improve so you can put any point of interest and it fined it. We really need it Thank you

The app is impressive and really does a great job. Have tried a few others (high priced apps) and settled on this. Voice annotations to locations or POI would be a fantastic addition. Does it right!!! Just get it!!!

work for moving company and often gps addresses does NOT work TRASH

The app works well. It is good for camping, just make sure you have unpaved roads turned in, because it can have downloaded maps for offline use. The address entry is backward for US but you get used to it. The search, by name function, however, is not good. Which is odd, if you find a location by address you can normally search nearby and find by name what you could not search by name.

I love it its great gets me on time and I can recommend to anyone

It would sure be nice if this app was CarPlay compatible!

No online traffic persian street name is not fixed so please more support i paid 30$

It would be nice it Sygic could have a check for updates button.
