Cant recognize address book addresses

UPDATE 7/2017- new version crashes when downloading updated maps. Now completely useless....and I have all the in-app purchases boooo

1) Cant recognize address book addresses
2) I use this just to cruise streets when I dont have Internet...which is usually never.
3) email customer support - response was they know and will fix it in some "future" update.
4) how can Apple let them keep pushing this as premium crap onto people? This is exactly what Apple was supposed to be protecting us from!
