Nice, but not optimized for USA

I like the app, the voices are pretty good, and the Head-Up-Display feature is a great idea, but unfortunately the HUD *ONLY* displays kilometers, and I live in the US, so Im not gonna know how far 1/2km is.
It would also be nice if the HUD displayed part of the actual map instead of just arrows, so I would know exactly which of several roads to turn onto.
Also, if Im looking for gasoline, Im not gonna be thinking "wheres the nearest *petrol* station."
